Hands on vocational skills training activities for the girls during the Covid-19 long Holiday.

Since 2020 when the schools were closed and learning halted, many of the girls have been home redundant which exposed them to various social challenges such as; early pregnancy, contracting deadly diseases, rape and defilement, that are dangerous to the girls lives.

In our effort to prevent the girls from suffering the consequences of the social challenges, we embarked on the campaign to engaged them in various activities which include; hands on vocational skills training in basket weaving, making mats, agriculture, with an aim of keeping girls busy and productive as well as enhancing their creativity and innovative capacity.

This has helped to save so many girls from being victims of social challenges during the Covid-19 holiday.
