Livelihood Improvement of Girls & Women

One of the most pressing issue in Uganda today is poverty especially among the women, which is caused by majority of women not being economically empowered, we realised that there is  big population of vulnerable  women and about 35.4% of families in Nama Sub county are women led where most of the women leading these families are not economically stable due to unemployment, lack of capital to finance income generating enterprise and lack of skills to start enterprise.

As an organisation, we are committed to empower  vulnerable women, teen mothers, school dropouts  and girls with tradable vocational and entrepreneurial-ship skills supplemented with financial literacy education that are essential for starting and managing income generating enterprises. We believe that this intervention will help to create a community where women live a self-sufficient life, enable to meet personal and family basic needs and above all are financially independent.
