Mental Health Activities.
Mental health is management for all sorts of mental disorders which is a global public health concern affecting a considerable number of individuals and its caused by a combination of abnormal thoughts, perceptions, emotions, behaviors and relations with others.
In Uganda, more than 15% of the general population experience mental health problems which mostly affects women where every 6 in 10 women are victims of mental health problems.
Through our Mental health program, we deliver interventions that help individuals to adapt to stress, depression and anxiety from internal and external environment evidenced by thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are age appropriate and corresponding with local and cultural norms.
Our Mental health interventions enables individuals realize their abilities to cope with the normal stresses of life and to work productively and effectively to make a contribution to their community.
